General Information About ATV Arenal Volcano River
The tour begins at the office in La Fortuna, where you'll receive an explanation about ATV operation and safety precautions, and take a quick test ride on an ATV that fits your size before beginning your tour.
There are many different routes in the area to choose from. One tour visits a working dairy farm, another visits La Fortuna Waterfall, crossing streams and speeding down hills.
During all tours, you'll enjoy stunning views of the Arenal Volcano. You'll also have the chance to spot exotic animals such as frogs, toucans, sloths, and monkeys. Most tours also include a visit to a river, where you can swim, wash off the mud, and cool off.
